The Musicians Connection
Our Story
The Musicians Connection was founded in Northwest Arkansas by musicians, for musicians who wanted to create a space for people to come together in their own community and share their passion for music. We started with a small group and have grown into a thriving platform for music enthusiasts everywhere. It is our mission to preserve and provide overall Health, Wellness and Stability to our area musicians and music industry workers.
Through our Musicians Health & Wellness Fund, we collaborate with other local and national nonprofit organizations to provide emergency medical, financial, shelter and food needs for Northwest Arkansas musicians and entertainment gig workers. We dedicate The Northwest Arkansas Music Hall of Fame and proceeds raised from NWAMC events such as this to ensure that the music industry in NWArkansas continues to thrive both onstage and off.
Founder, Amanda Rey
Amanda Rey is an accomplished musician and visionary leader, renowned for her profound impact on the Northwest Arkansas music scene. As the founder of the Northwest Arkansas Musicians Connection and Music Hall of Fame, Amanda has dedicated her career to fostering community and collaboration among local artists. With a deep passion for music and an unwavering commitment to elevating regional talent, she has successfully created platforms that celebrate and support musicians from diverse backgrounds. Her extensive experience includes performing, organizing music festivals & events, and advocating for the arts, making her a pivotal figure in the cultural landscape of the area. Amanda's dynamic approach and innovative spirit continue to inspire and empower fellow musicians, solidifying her reputation as a trailblazer in the industry. A multifaceted talent with a diverse skill set that includes singing, songwriting, social advocacy, resource management, event planning, writing, producing, and content creation. Renowned as a "Woman in Blues," she serves as both Founder and Brand Director, while also excelling in partnership development. Her impressive repertoire reflects her expertise and unwavering dedication to her craft.
